As if the stakes weren’t already high in the anticipated Hell in a Cell Match between Shane McMahon and The Undertaker at WrestleMania, Mr. McMahon added a startling stipulation to the bout: If The Deadman doesn’t defeat WWE’s prodigal son, this will be his final appearance on The Grandest Stage of Them All.
Now, the WWE Universe faces two potential realities in the aftermath of The Show of Shows that could shift the landscape of sports-entertainment. Either Shane assumes control of Raw — and, by extension, WWE — or The Phenom walks away from WrestleMania forever. How will both combatants respond to The Chairman’s bombshell announcement Monday night?
Rumors for the Day:
Apparently Undertaker has been spending time training at the Performance Center ahead of his match with Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 32.
Both Brie and Nikki Bella are expected to be at Raw tonight in Brooklyn, though that doesn’t necessarily mean Nikki will appear on television and she could be there just to film scenes for Total Divas.
PW Insider reports WWE is currently planning to run three matches on the WrestleMania 32 pre-show.
It’s expected that ESPN will have a major presence at WrestleMania 32 with a lot of coverage throughout the week leading up to the show.
Angelina Love is no longer with TNA and is expected to start wrestling again in the summer.
