CONOR MCGREGOR doesn’t plan on returning to the Octagon anytime soon, according to UFC president Dana White

Twenty-nine-year-old McGregor hasn’t set foot inside the cage since his historic UFC 205 victory over Eddie Alvarez, a triumph which saw him claim the lightweight title and become the first fighter in the promotion’s history to hold two titles simultaneously.

The Irishman’s lengthy hiatus from mixed martial arts was down to the birth of his son, Conor Jr, and his multi-million-pound boxing match with Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Immediately after his unsuccessful boxing debut, McGregor claimed that he has every intention of returning to MMA and defending his lightweight crown.

However, the UFC’s poster boy has yet to agree a comeback date with the promotion, much to the frustration of many.
