Conor McGregor would ‘slap the head off’ anyone who came near him as a killer clown

The UFC featherweight champion fired off an explicit warning to anyone daring to come near him in fancy dress.

The Irishman said he is aware of the terrifying epidemic which has seen swarms of pranksters across the globe dress as clowns and launch savage attacks on innocent people.

But fan favourite McGregor, a legend in trash-talking his opponents, is fully prepared to come face-to-face with one.

Unsurprisingly, he isn’t too worried about having to deal with a potential clown fight in the street.

In fact, McGregor seems well up for it.

“Yeah, I’ve seen people dressing up as clowns or something,” he said in a Facebook Live interview with TheLadBible.

“If one came near me, I would slap the head off one.

“You see one of them jumping out and screaming in your face dressed up in a clown mask, I’d slap the head off him.

“I’d pull the mask off him and stick it up his a***. Just don’t come near me in a clown mask.”

He went on: “Don’t come near me, period, or I’ll slap the head off you anyway, but if you’re in a clown suit I’ll slap the head off you even more so.

“What even is that, it’s f***** up.”

McGregor will take on his lightweight counterpart Eddie Alvarez in the main event of UFC 205 on November 12.
