Cyborg’s Female MMA Event Lands TV Deal

Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino has slaved away in the gym and in the cage so opportunities could be opened up worldwide for women in the sport of mixed martial arts. Her historic fights inside the cage at Strikeforce, Elite XC, and UFC have shattered the glass ceiling for women and allowed promotions like Invicta FC to be given an opportunity it never had before.

On July 2, 2016, Cyborg will continue to make MMA history when she co-promotes the very first California Female Amateur MMA Championship event along with Get Down Fights! The goal os the show is to showcase just how much skill these female athletes have all the while gaining priceless fight-experience.

The main event will feature the highly anticipated mixed martial arts debut of Mayra Mazza as she clashes with Brooke Mayo for the inaugural 135-pound CAMO State Championship Belt.

This card has garnered so much attention that KDOC TV Genesis will be broadcasting “Get Down Fights 22” into nearly six-million homes throughout Southern California! AXS TV and “Religion of Sports” will be cageside as well hoping to release snippets of action to the masses.
