Dana White makes startling admission about Conor McGregor

Dana White has made a startling admission about Conor McGregor in the build-up to the fight against Floyd Mayweather.
Having watched the MMA fighter in training, the UFC president said the Irishman is ‘not a boxer’.

What next for Lee Selby and Kid Galahad after wins on Eubank Jr undercard?

While McGregor cannot hide his total lack of professional boxing experience, he is entering Mayweather’s discipline and with less than six weeks to go until they enter the ring it might have been hoped he was starting to look the part.

But that doesn’t seem to be the case.
‘All I’ve seen are stuff that he’s [McGregor] sent me, videos that he’s sent me,’ said White, who helped broker what will be the richest fight in history.
‘Listen he’s not a boxer, at the end of the day, Conor McGregor is not a boxer, he’s a fighter.’

Despite his lack of boxing ability, White claims McGregor is capable of beating Mayweather and explained precisely how he should go about it.
‘Conor McGregor is the bigger, stronger guy and needs to hit Floyd Mayweather and needs to hurt him.
‘I don’t see him out-pointing Floyd in a boxing match. I see him getting in, turning it into a fight and roughing Floyd up.
‘I believe in this fight Floyd is going to fight traditionally the way that Floyd fights, the best defensive fighter ever.’

White continued: ‘I think he’s going to stay on his toes he’s going to move around a lot – he’s going to try and stay away from McGregor.
‘I think McGregor goes straight after him and tries to rough him up and tries to knock him out.’
