Dana White Opens Up On ‘Alcoholic’ Father & Getting Expelled From School

Dana White didn’t have it easy as a young man growing up in Boston…

Known as the highly successful president of the most popular MMA promotion on the planet, Dana White’s personal life rarely finds its way into the spotlight. However, on occasion, some details of the 48-year-old’s fractured familial relationships and haunted past emerge.

Last year, White’s mother sat down for a highly controversial interview in which she berated her own son for turning his back on his family and friends who were there for them ‘through the lean, tough times.’

“It is difficult for me to see how, as the popularity of the UFC evolved, the person I once knew changed into someone who is egotistical, self-centered, arrogant, and cruel. Dana went from being a true friend, a good son, and a truly nice person to being a vindictive tyrant who lacks any feelings for how he treats others.” – June White

White himself has also told some extraordinary stories about his own past (last year he told a horrifying story about getting jumped and beaten so badly he was left with Meniere’s disease) and, speaking in an ‘In Depth with Graham Bensinger’ interview, the UFC President also opened up about his ‘alcoholic’ father and how he once got expelled from high school.

Check out the fascinating interview below.
