Hull’s Connor Seymour: I’ll take bigger risks to gain boxing rewards

Connor Seymour will be back in the boxing ring next month after maintaining his unbeaten record as a professional.

The 24-year-old gained a points decision over Liam Griffiths from Sussex at the Firest Direct Arena, Leeds.

Griffiths had had 10 times as many fights as Seymour, but that counted for nothing as the Hull boxer dominated from start to finish to win his fifth bout from seven so far.

With a new trainer, Seymour intends to keep busy in his bid to climb the rankings and move closer to a title fight.
