Despite everyone’s certainty that Jon Jones will be able to beat his UFC 200 failed drug test, he isn’t making any points with the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) for his continued postponement of his hearing.
Today in fact, the NSAC held their monthy meeting and with Jon Jones not in attendance commissioner Lundval shared some choice words.
“I don’t think it is good precedent for us on a going-forward basis to only follow USADA’s hearings,” stated the commissioner. “I don’t think we are in some type of administrative process where we let USADA set the stage or dictate what the potential punishment may be. I know from a practical standpoint, that effectively the continuance should be granted. But I do not think this is a good cause.”
Jon’s case better be air tight or Lundvall just might fry him!
