There are less than two weeks until WrestleMania and the penultimate episode of Smackdown gave the brand a huge change.
After what has been a very underwhelming reign, American Alpha have now been dethroned as the Smackdown Tag Team Champions.
It was advertised ahead of the show that the former NXT Champions would be taking on the Usos with the titles on the line.

The two teams went head to head at the start of the show and put together an enthralling match which left the fans in attendance amazed.
Putting on a spectacle worthy of making fans question why the division has been so neglected, the Usos claimed the titles to become just fourth set of champions since the Draft last year.
Several close calls throughout the match for either side kept the crowd on their feet, but it was only when Chad Gable was thrown into the fans and some outside influence that Jason Jordan was finally down for the three count.
Bringing to an end the two month reign as champions of American Alpha, the Usos can now aim to drive the Smackdown Tag Team division forward.
MUCH NEEDED CHANGE
The title reign of American Alpha wasn't exactly spectacular with the pair not even appearing on the match card at the Royal Rumble in January.
The former NXT Champions did defend the titles at Elimination Chamber and emerged victorious in a tag team turmoil match.
However the tag team division has seemingly passed into obscurity during their reign and now with the new champions, it could be set for a re-emergence.
On RAW, the competition is fierce in the Tag Team division with three top teams set to compete over the titles at WrestleMania.
By the end of Tuesday's episode of Smackdown there was still no confirmed Tag Team title match confirmed for Smackdown at WrestleMania.
However with new champions comes a title rematch and it is likely that American Alpha could receive their rematch at WrestleMania.
If the two teams are able to create a similar performance at 'Mania as they did on Smackdown, they could well rival the main events as a match of the night contender.
