Pic: Sage Northcutt is scrawny, weak compared to Exploding Arms Guy

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight adonis Sage Northcutt is abandoning his post at 170 pounds in favor of smaller competition, thanks to a submission loss to Mickey Gall last December at UFC on FOX 22.

It was a learning experience, bro.

I’m not sure if that means the shake-loving Northcutt will be lifting fewer weights in order to make the 155-pound limit, but it certainly hasn't stopped him from bending frying pans hanging around his cronies in the bodybuilding community.

Like “Patrick” the human protein bar, who did something awful to his arms that may require an intervention, lest they explode and cover the gym in tainted meat. Hopefully he’s too busy pumping iron to read this, as I would prefer to not have my head squeezed between those giant fists.

Northcutt, it should be noted, has a “Super” sponsorship with former IFBB pro Lee Labrada.

After making his Octagon debut in the 155-pound division, the 21-year-old striker jumped up in weight to tangle with Bryan Barberena — to disastrous results. Northcutt (8-2) quickly rebounded by outpointing Enrique Marin, then came his Gall stall.

When the former karate wunderkind returns to the Octagon remains to be seen.
