Ronda Rousey speaks out against Donald Trump’s immigration policy

Ronda Rousey is the latest sports figure to speak out against Donald Trump's executive order banning citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the U.S.

The UFC star shared her thoughts with an Instagram post on Sunday.

Rousey posted a cartoon of Emma Lazarus' poem “The New Colossus,” which is found on the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty.

"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

In the cartoon, a painter has added an asterisk to the end of the poem, along with the words "offer may vary."

Rousey is not the only sports star who has taken to social media to condemn Trump's executive order.

USMNT captain Michael Bradley shared his thoughts in a long Instagram post, stating that the move is "just the latest example of someone who couldn't be more out of touch with our country and the right way to move forward."
