In a time when Ultimate Fighting Championship needs all the stars it can get, the mystery surrounding former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey’s return to the octagon is leaving fans scratching their heads. UFC President Dana White has mentioned that she would be returning by the end of 2016 only to correct himself, saying that her return will likely take place in 2017.
Rumors are circulating that Rousey’s return-bout will be announced next week and all signs are pointing to a bout with Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino. If you ask anybody from Rousey’s camp when she’s coming back, make sure you avoid her trainer Edmond Taverdyan as he lashed out at the LA Times for asking:
“You’ve asked before, and made people very upset. Wait two more months (before asking again).”
