The World’s Highest-Paid Athletes According to Forbes

For the fourth time in seven years, Floyd Mayweather tops Forbes’ annual look at the world’s 100 highest-paid athletes, earning $285 million, including a $275 million payday for his August showdown with UFC star Conor McGregor and $10 million from endorsements, appearances and memorabilia.

The staggering number is more than double the amount that #2 Lionel Messi earned ($111 million). In fact, the combined earnings of #2 Messi and #3 Cristiano Ronaldo ($108 million) still falls well short of what Mayweather earned in just one night of work. Check out the complete list below.
