Tyson Fury is free to take to the ring again from today following a failed drugs test

The 45-year-old American fighter, who briefly held the WBO heavyweight title in 2006, is free to take to the ring again from today following a failed drugs test.

But he’ll have to wait to come up against Fury, who’s waiting on a National Anti-Doping Panel hearing having been banned from boxing for almost two years since his win over Wladimir Klitschko.

Briggs hasn’t let Fury’s suspension stop him from calling out the Wythenshawe-born boxer, who was previously the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO champion, though.
