WWE: Nakamura wins on return

Shinsuke Nakamura beat TJ Perkins on Wednesday night in his first televised match since losing the NXT Championship to Bobby Roode at TakeOver: San Antonio in January.

The Japanese star saw off Perkins with a Kinshasa, despite having the knee he injured while shipping the belt to Roode in Texas two months ago targeted by the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion.

Nakamura then learned he would face the winner of Roode and Kassius Ohno's NXT Title match next week at TakeOver: Orlando on April 1.

Elsewhere, NXT Tag Team Champions The Authors of Pain sent a strong warning to The Revival following Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder's attack on them last week amid their title defence against #DIY.

Akam and Rezar ambushed Gabriel and Uriel Ealy – The Revival's scheduled opponents – while Dawson and Wilder scarpered.

Plus, Andrade "Cien" Almas beat HoHo Lun with a hammerlock DDT and Ember Moon conquered Billie Kay with an Eclipse stunner.

Meanwhile, SAnitY stars Eric Young, Killian Dain, Nikki Cross and Alexander Wolfe overpowered Tye Dillinger and No Way Jose, having previously attacked Roderick Strong backstage.
