WWE WrestleMania 33: Roman Reigns Vs. The Undertaker Could Be A $7 Million Decision

There is a false narrative going around that Roman Reigns isn't "over" yet since so many fans are passionate in their disdain for him.

This couldn't be further from the truth as it is his uniquely polarizing nature that has led him to become WWE's biggest full-time star.

Reigns accounted for 58 percent of WWE's top-ten YouTube viewership last year. He has main evented the past two WrestleManias and could be in position to join the elite club of WWE Superstars who have done so three years in a row.

But as he prepares for arguably his biggest WrestleMania yet, WWE has a chance to give Reigns its most definitive stamp of approval yet if he earns an elusive victory over The Undertaker.

There is a certain tone to this feud that has set up Reigns to be acknowledged as the leader of the New Era. The unofficial tagline of Reigns vs. Undertaker is "who's yard is this?"

The theme of Reigns' feud with Undertaker is much different from his storylines of WrestleManias past.

Against Brock Lesnar, who was being booked as perhaps the most dominant WWE Superstar of the modern era, the narrative was whether or not Reigns could survive against such a specimen at WrestleMania 31. Against Triple H, at WrestleMania 32, the deck was stacked against Reigns as his feud against The Authority took the tone of one vs. all.

This time around, it's one against one.

The proverbial lease of WWE's yard is at stake. If Reigns loses, that yard still belongs to The Undertaker, and Reigns' growth would be tremendously stunted. If Reigns wins, that squared circle his yard. He's supplants The Undertaker, and will be well on his way to supplanting John Cena.
